I took the nap.
But now I’m going to go work in the studio…
riiiiiight after I eat some dinner.
I worked 55 hours this week. That’s a lot for me, but a drop in the bucket compared to what the press and machine operators are working. They are actually all at work right now while I sit at home creeping the internet. And they will be at work tomorrow as well. But back to me me me.
I haven’t worked in the studio for 2 weeks now. Last week it was because of a nasty wasp sting and this week because it was just too late when I got off work and I was too tired. I had big plans to spend the weekend at the studio making up for it but….Thursday morning I got an email from a freelance design client who needs a little help with his magazine this month. I also got an email from a NEW client who needs a logo design - FAST. So this weekend will be spent making a logo and building a magazine. I hate complaining about too much work when so many are struggling, but I sure wish the abundance could spread itself out a little. I’m just grateful I can do this work at home in my pajamas eating Easter candy, bacon and cheese grits. In that order.
